Notice of application to amend the eligibility rules of the CPSU under r 121 of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Regulation 2009

The CPSU has applied for consent of the Fair Work Commission to alter the CPSU’s eligibility rules (the Chapter A rules). This application was filed with the Commission on Friday, 30 May 2025. The application seeks to alter the rules to clarify that mobile speed camera operators in New South Wales who perform work on behalf of Transport for New South Wales are covered by the CPSU. The specific alteration sought is to insert the following additional clause at Part II, section 1, sub-section (D) of the Chapter A rules:

On Monday 6 May 2019 the CPSU filed the necessary paperwork to alter the Chapter A rule book to make amendments to the operation of the National Officers Committee . RULE CHANGE APPLICATION RE NSW ELECTRICITY SECTOR

The Union on 5 September 2012 lodged with Fair Work Australia an application for consent to alter its eligibility rules to continue its eligibility to represent members employed by State Government-owned Electricity Generation Corporations in New South Wales should they be sold or leased to private operators.
